Does Pennsylvania Add Its Own Requirements?

For the equipment itself, Pennsylvania largely tracks the federal baseline. Its long-term care rules make the administrator responsible for a sanitary, orderly environment maintained through housekeeping and maintenance of the building and grounds (28 Pa. Code § 201.18(e)), and the former housekeeping-and-maintenance chapter (28 Pa. Code Chapter 207) is now reserved — so there is no Tennessee-style itemized-inventory or “date, time, and name” documentation mandate.
